Paul n Timothy

Sure this is another affection under the umbrella of LOVE:-

The whole point of what we’re urging is simply love —love uncontaminated by self-interest and counterfeit faith, a life open to God. Those who fail to keep to this point soon wander off into cul-de-sacs of gossip. They set themselves up as experts on religious issues, but haven’t the remotest idea of what they’re holding forth with such imposing eloquence. (1 Timothy 1:5-7 MSG)

Mindful! Not to outgrow to be cul-de-sacs of gossip. This is what God abhor!

another biblical dyad-Paul and Timothy

Sometimes, when being a grown-up as Paul, I would like to be rejuvenized as Timothy who has an awesome 'father'.  For sure, spiritually or even mentally, I long for someone to coach me and stand  me up as close as father-and-daughter; just like the dyad Paul-and-Timothy.

Mindful!  Father is not always soft, sometimes, it is iron-to-iron.  Tough?  Am I strong enough or bold enough to absorb all comments ?  Will I rebuke? 

Somehow, I do have a few Paul in my life, when I am willing to be Timothy.
