Look back after entering Single Ministry for 10 months
Open

By fall of 2014, when
Cherie entered her campus and lived at St. John’s Hall. I felt it’s time for me to move on. What was I short of then? It’s courage to face change : whatever
changes they are in family or my spiritual life. I need a push and a prompt to change. So I remembered the book The Princess Who Believed
in Fairy Tales read
in 2004 (?). It’s the princess who
dreams of living a happily forever life with her prince as depicted in fairy
tale. In the story, she did but life
changed sour and her prince/husband changed.
When her prince deserted her, she broke down and was advised to walk and
move on bravely to seek the truth of life that sustains her.
So I used the title for
my BT aim and of course mine for 2015. With
the same gut, I jumped out of my comfort zone and moved to singles ministry in
early 2015. Praise God! Two other sisters joined me and here we
started a new bt : CSI since this Feb.
We set 3 important things
as 3C:-
1.
Connection (with God & hence
sisters/brothers); Sandy
2.
Confession and repentance (admit
our limitations & stay humble); Connie
3.
Conviction to advance with a
refreshed surge of energy. Iris
We spot 3 obstacles that
hinders our spiritual growth:-
1.
Loose
connection with God (more prayers & QT)
2.
Busyness
(preoccupied with worldly matters) : time
management/prioritize
3.
Wrongly
prioritize : Others before God
