PowerPuff Ladies' 2nd QT

As scheduled, we refreshed ourselves early in a day with Psalm 1.
Psalm 1 : 2

Vivian shared her struggles on the issue of (self-)righteousness in her work.

To me,"... Blessed is the man with his delight in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day & night."
Meditation is really a means to come closer with my Lord. I mediate with soft music and candle light and sunshine and of course a loving-God heart. My friend, Tina, has just returned from Antarctica and loaded me with a lot of beautiful pictures featuring the Antarctica landscape: the glaciers and penguins. I found myself recharged after viewing these pictures.
This is the time I find myself : orientating toward nature and feeling amazed with the God's creation and I should be the one who love our environment more. Globalization applies not in commercial sense, but even more environmentally.

Open our heart and eyes and get ourselves more connected to nature. Forget the unfairness & unrighteousness in the commercial setting (this is a test to our sinsful nature). Focus on our blessings and to turn our curse into blessings. We prosper as promised by God Psalm 1:3.

I will extend myself to preserve this environment through my action. Let's see what we can do on my part.

first QT on phone for PowerPuff Ladies

Psalm 120 is the shortest Psalm in the whole Psalms which (should be/is) the centre (physcially) of the whole Bible. Though short, we started it as our very first Psalm for our trio's morning QT. Though, in term of time duration (30 mins), short, we grasp & be grateful to open our struggles or sins to each other. We are joyful and secured and comforted by God's provision & protection through nature: the sunrise & the sunset whenever we acknowledge and appreciate.

In my learning, "Let-go & Forgive" is the panacea to the hidden sins and the obstacle to my spiritual growth. Psalm 120:7 "I am a man of peace; but when I speak they are for war." Whenever I am not peaceful in my heart, I struggle in pain. In pain, I resent(in term of anger) or resist (fear). I won't be peaceful or even hold back. In grace, I am a disciple-a learner & a follower in Jesus. My inner call/holy spirit will pinpoint what is still hidden in my dark side of my heart which I must tackle it or it can make me unpeaceful. Thanks Psalms 120 - a time to show me what causes me unpeaceful and Psalm 121 - a time to reinforce me the love & care of God always be with me. "Let-go & Forgive" is what I must act it out wholeheartedly. Only this, I will prosper and glorify my Lord who really loves me to grow up and shine up.

Thanks for my dear sisters: we really live in faith and love in action who cite my sins and area which I should handle.

PowerPuff Ladies

To reinforce our core values :- to love God with all our hearts, our mind, and our soul. We move a mile further:-
Our action plan:-

• three of us (Lucy, Vivian & I) will drill Deuteronomy so as to grasp the convictions to "Live in faith & Love in action for our morning QT. We will meet in Wanchai on alternate Friday with a morning fresh-up by Deuteronomy.
• another trio (Connie, Vivian & I) will have a light morning tank-up on every Wednesday on phone. We will shower ourselves with Psalms to express our love & gratitude to God.
• In the Sunflower Project, Iris is going to visit different public libraries on Islands with Janice. In consulting with Janice's mom, she prefers that I take Cherie as well. So starting from the first Sat in Feb, this project will gear in motion. I choose Janice because I love this cheerful & brilliant girl who has a pure heart and faith in God which I can learn from her. Moreover, both of us love books.

興起！發光！

新的一年：新的查經班．雖說是舊的班子，但卻是新的任務－起碼在自己的身上－成為查經班的領袖！帶著誠惶誠恐的心情去服侍身邊的姊妹和為這個新的組合注入活力和火花．

２００７年的目標
屬靈家庭：－

• 姊妹之間的關係可以更深更闊，在彼此數年來已建立的信任，我們在洞悉姊妹有偏離神的道時，會本著以愛心說成實話（以弗所書４：１５）的勇氣，勇於向對方說出自己的看法，也增加彼此的了解和諒解．
• 堅信＜子女成長路，彼此互守望＞我們會自己的帳幕張開，藉著不同屬靈家庭的孩子的興趣和嗜好，我們會嘗試與彼此成長中的女孩子建立友誼，加深了解，也為這新一代他日成為我們的姊妹鋪路．

傳道上的熱心：－

• 主動接觸和關心身邊未信神的朋友或同事．希望把他們和神拉近一步又一步．
• Ｓｔｅｌｌａ成為基督徒
• 熱心把福音帶入自己的家庭，希望家人成為基督徒

我們的行動：－

• 農曆元旦，我們一起團拜．
• 復活節，為我們的新一代（十歲以上的子女）搞一個查經班．計劃由Ｍｉｋｅ帶領
• 暑假七月中旬，我們會和Ｂｏｎｎｉｅ，　Ｌｏｒｉｎｄａ的查經班來一個中山家庭退修營．
• 我們定期與選定的一個姊妹的女兒建立友誼，共同做些大家都感興趣的事情
